To these men, and boys, whose lives have been, at a minimum derailed, for some – lost entirely – I tribute this post of numbers.

The following numbers are all based on data collected form Sam and myself, or data from Jace and my personal experience. These numbers ONLY relate to people caught thru a ‘Net Nanny’ type proactive police sting, in the state of Washington.

0 – the number of days a person in this situation will receive for good behavior. Ever.

1 – The number of men murdered in prison for a police created, victim less ‘thought crime’

4 – The most ‘net nanny’ type stings run in a single county – PIERCE

6 – The number of confirmed and suspected suicides of those arrested

19 – The number of months Jace has been incarcerated.

20 – The total number of ‘Net Nanny’ type stings run in the state of WA since 2015.

66 – The largest number of arrests in a single county – THURSTON

70 – The number of men, still considered adolescents using brain science (17-25), arrested

75 – Dollars I have spent on Jpay ‘stamps’ over the last year

83 – the number of times I have visited my son in prison over the last year.

300 – The number of names I currently have in my database as arrested in the state of Washington on a proactive police sting.

Tomorrow, New Years Day 2020, is Jace 588th day in prison. His last day.

To all those out there in this situation, or supporting someone who is, keep working to bring this political scheme to light. Tell people the truth. Show people the facts. Keep standing up.

They wont believe you…until they can no longer NOT BELIEVE. Only then will any of this make any difference in our society. One believer at a time.

May you all have a better new year.

  1. Blog number? I’m curious I know there’ve been many. I know you wanted a place to share info that was so hard for us to find and to reach out to others, and also to share Jace story. I know that this was not an easy task, I’m impressed with how you handled it, honestly, unashamedly with humor, hope and a parent’s love.

  2. Thank you for all the truthful post this past year. I hope you and Jace have a much less stressful 2020 year. Unfortunately the registry is never an easy task to live with for the entire family.

  4. We are at a time when our legislators are in session. Anyone organizing a lobbying effort to ask for a reasonable alternative for our young adults? We have mental health, Veterans’ and drug courts. Why not Young Adult Court (San Francisco has it) and/or Cyber Safety Court?
