I always try to bring a smidge of humor into my writings and updates. Life, especially now, can be so disheartening. Humor has always been my way to cope. For the last almost 4 years, it’s been hard for me to laugh through my tears.
I wanted to update you all that Jace written Mandate of the courts reversal arrived. He is by all current legal standards, at this moment, a free man. Never before have I felt the Southwest Airlines mantra more true – ‘You are now free to move about the country’. Except of course, the country is closed. Details, details….
But as I whimsically compared Jace to Moses, it started to feel right…
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about Jace as a great man – a principled, humanitarian leader. Although a mother can hope that her son grows into such a person. I’m talking about the chance that Jace COULD BECOME the one that got away.
We do have a few great cases where, in a jury trial, the jury has seen through the lies and acquitted. We also have a few appeal reversals – Chapman and De Mares for example. But to my knowledge those few have not advocated against what is happening.
While the advocate here is me – imperfect example here at best – let me explain where my mind went….
Moses says ‘let my people go’, as we are saying STOP THESE STINGS!
Unfortunately, just like in the movie – politics, appearances, and malicious agendas will be at play here. The police will continue to lie to the public. Until we win the public opinion by reveling the truth – I fear Jace, and all the innocent men caught in police proactive stings, will continue to be prosecuted, and imprisoned.
The New York Times article cracked open the door on this. The Dr. Phil show next month will shove our foot in the door to make sure it doesn’t get closed on us! We need to keep fighting – and we will.

Well I’m glad to hear that news. I have to ask, are you Moses Birth Mother, or Pharaoh’s Daughter? – I’m going with Birth Mother, as I know that you would always do what is in his best interest. 4 years is long enough, I pray that you get through this next part much faster and easier.

Advocacy is nice, but at the end of the day, it’s all about money and power with these people. You should make no hesitation in suing the government for what they did to Jace. A single settlement alone costs the government millions in payout and fees. We need to encourage as many sting targets as possible to sue, sue, and sue relentlessly until the “business case” for these stings comes crashing down!
