My last post had to do with not seeing what is right in front of your face, or seeing the injustice and doing nothing. They are the same to me. Both conjure images of my 2nd favorite movie – H G Wells Time Machine (The original of course!)
Weena is so pretty and sweet – Wait?!?! the Morlocks EAT the people above?!?! What?!?!
NO…. I don’t believe it!
As a follow up to the amazing realization that ‘Willful Blindness’ is neither a new, nor rare human condition – let’s talk some about what exactly IS wrong here…
In 2014 a man named Trey Gennette wrote a complaint to the Attorney General. A few excerpts from his letter are as follows:
“Predisposition, tactics involved, along with the use of adult dating sites are just a few of the things not taken into consideration. Couple those with the fact that there seems to be no oversight at all to ensure that those arrested were actually true predators and we have a recipe for creating criminals.”
…”arrests made from the highly publicized “Craigslist” related stings. It is rather apparent that law enforcement has focused their attention on utilizing this site because of its often immoral or even taboo content. Not only that, but the high volume of visitors/users makes it easy for law enforcement to ensnare unsuspecting men.”
The complaint was sent to the then Attorney General specifically about Florida State Proactive Stings. At that time – some headway was made by Florida ACLU president Pheneger and TV reporter Noah Pransky, who had done a number of on air, and online, pieces on the Illegal Proactive Stings.

“It’s important to put actual sex offenders in jail,” Pheneger said. “Law enforcement should be going after those people, not trying to entice people who have shown no disposition to any kind of criminal behavior toward children.”
“There are a lot of things that don’t pass the muster of social acceptability,” Noah Pransky said, but aren’t illegal. “In these cases, many times [the police] weren’t drawing the line between criminal acts and free speech.
Yet here we are, on the verge of 2019, and nothing has changed. The police have learned that what works for them is to NOT follow the rules. They know no one with the power to change the running of ILLEGAL PROACTIVE STINGS is watching, or cares. Thousands, even tens of thousands, of potentially innocent men have been incarcerated while law enforcement and state governments reap the financial rewards.
Where does this end?
Thank you for bringing awareness to the public. Shameful there’s any need to research and put a spotlight on how things far too often work on this topic.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Government is no longer accountable to the people. The solution is equal accountability for all. People in the government must be held accountable for their actions. It doesn’t matter your political persuasion, vote for accountability.

This is far more than entrapment, this is more than sex offenders, this is about control of the people…
“There’s no way to rule innocent men.
The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals.
Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them.
One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
