For those of you who don’t know – the episode of Dr. Phil aired two days ago. It was a mixed bag, which I’ve come to realize is the best I can do. And I need to be OK with that.

The truth is from day 1 this has been a roller coaster. We take 1 steps forward, a GLIMMER of hope, and then 1 step back. That didn’t work. What can we do next?

I was just talking to my friend Anita at FAC about this. She has offered to try and assist our advocacy group CAGE. We greatly appreciate both FAC and NARSOL for all of their support. Two steps forward, one step back.

My very good friend Heidi’s brother was just sentenced to six and a half years for a sting. I always feel stupid when I get excited….they will give him a low sentence, certainly they can see he has emotional and developmental issues right? 2 steps forward. Nope – 6.5 years. One step back.

Today we heard from the WA courts. Jace will be back in front of Judge Gonzales on Tuesday to set a new trial date. Wait! Didn’t we already do this once before?!? Two steps forward….one step back 😦

And still – I refuse to stop.

I feel for Jace during this time especially, to go back and relive this hell in front of a judge who had the audacity to say he didn’t believe anything he said, while he [the judge] had been clearly checked out throughout the trial was shocking. I feel for You his parent opening old fears and wounds, buried, still raw and exposed. We are here to support you, you are always here for everyone else, reach out when you need help.

  3. Watched dr Phil. Mixed bag as you say. Somehow it seems the point was missed about how much work is done to lure the most naive segment of society. And then once they are caught the deceiving web that is spun to get them to confess without legal advise.

  4. Oh good grief! In front of that same Judge….AGAIN???? As Maureen said, that Judge was appalling!!! As always, I support you all through the coming tribulations! My hand is always around for you, m’Dear!!!

    I read your post about your experience on the Dr Phil show. I’m so sorry that you had to go through this yet again 😡. I am a night person and I just watched that episode. I can’t tell you how angry it made me feel to relive the day that led my brother to take his own life as he felt that it was his only option 😭😭. Thank you both for your bravery and strength to continue to bring attention to this unjust situation that will hopefully educate more people. I miss my brother every day. Thank you for your support and dedication to this cause. Jace is so very blessed to have you as a mother, always in his corner! I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers!!

  8. Dr. Phil was playing to an audience. This is against the constitution. This is the police and prosecutors and the judges playing loose and corrupt with the law. This is a manufactured crime. Pure and simple.
    Then add in private religious right wing backing, Qanon theorists, demanding arrest numbers and video to fundraise more MONEY and you see how the whole operation demands more arrests. More arrest numbers more MONEY. From the Feds and from OUR….money laundering . Cops with lots of overtime pay.
    And NO OVERSITE…
