The obvious questions are the ones not being asked of this racket:
-
Why search for ‘pedophiles’ in adult webpages?
-
Why use profiles of adult women?
-
Why send pictures of adult women?
-
Why have adult women greet a ‘pedophile’?
-
Why induce innocent people into a bait and switch?
-
How much money does the state make per ‘pedophile’ conviction?
-
Why is there no oversight to this ICAC task force?
What curtailment of liberty will Americans allow innocent people to endure in the name of child safety?
The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part
My friend Dan is waiting on his son’s trial
My friend Lex is waiting for the prosecutor to drop his case since they “lost” the evidence
My friend Ara is waiting for her son’s trial
My friend Terri is waiting for her son’s trial without any evidence
I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. It actually already has, I’m just too stubborn to admit it. I am waiting for the judge to say Washington State and USA privacy laws don’t matter if you are accused of something heinous.
The truth is no matter how hard I fight, none of this will change quickly. My son will go to prison. I will move to Washington State to be near him. I will continue to raise awareness for this dark secret playing out daily right under our noses.
Yet there are many strides now.
Carpenter V USA win
Washington State V Solomon (Which has now cleared the States appeal)
Many suits are being filed for reduction and elimination of extreme registration requirements. Suits about imposing restrictions retroactively. Suits about privacy laws, fairness, and due process.
This is all coming out.
But Tom was right –
The waiting is the hardest part.
Even so,
you won’t back down!
